Biennial of the Americas: Power in Migration

The Latino Leadership Institute is proud to partner with The Center for American Progress and the George W. Bush Institute to present a discussion about migration management efforts and the United States’ economic competitiveness. The symposium will emphasize how to get migration right in the Americas, the importance of the role immigrants play in the U.S. economy, and why it matters as a national and regional interest along with our standing in the global economy. It will focus on the real challenges - and opportunities - of migration, highlighting the drivers of today’s migration in the Americas, and explain the economic growth opportunities of properly understood and managed migration. The urgency and importance of this topic are undeniable. We are at a crucial point and bigger solutions are needed.
