The first section will be a multi-media presentation. Buddha Bomb will discuss the history of electronic music. His presentation will include many examples in the form of photographs, audio and video clips.

The origin of important electronic music genres will be presented, and the earliest tracks will be played.  The presentation will conclude with a discussion of how electronic music affects consciousness. For example, the repetition of the drum beat has been used by shamans for millennia. Electronic music is being used to elevate consciousness in yoga classes and ecstatic dances, showing an evolution in the history of electronic music.

The second section will be a dance party with Buddha Bomb spinning from the dance genres of electronic music.

It all takes place in the magical setting of the Lumonics Mind Spa on the first floor of the McNichols Building, featuring the light sculptures of Dorothy Tanner and the late Mel Tanner.
