Warm Cookies of the Revolution – Own This City: The Media (in partnership with Zine Fest)

What if you felt the same ownership of our streets, libraries, emergency services, and media as you did about your personal belongings? Why don’t you?

This month Warm Cookies of the Revolution is partnering with the Denver Zine Fest to explore “How to Own: The Media” and they are putting the media on trial. Similar to Warm Cookies’ “People Vs ____” program, we’ll transform the McNichols Building into a courtroom with prosecution and defense experts putting all aspects of “media” on trial–and then YOU are the jury. Come to learn, converse, and take action to keep or change the media that we all own together.

All Warm Cookies programs are free with a $5 suggested donation to help with costs.

Childcare and interpretation is available if requested.

And of course, there will be delicious warm cookies: traditional, vegan, and gluten-free.
