Biennial of the Americas Clínica #2 - Bringing Empathy Home, Housing Innovations from the Americas

Housing challenges are abundant in both large and small cities across the Americas. In the United States, rising rent, gentrification and population growth are devastating communities. Innovative solutions to these issues can be found in unlikely communities in Latin America, including the notorious favelas and comunas in Brazil and Colombia. This session will highlight how innovative approaches can hack staid bureaucracies and bring diverse and inclusive housing solutions to communities around the hemisphere.
